Sermon: Entering Heaven with the Prophet Muhammad

I'm sorry I'm sorry

The Muslim congregation performs Friday prayers. May Allah have mercy on them.

First of all, let us always express our gratitude to Allah SWT, until this very second, Allah still gives us a long life, a very great blessing, for which every Muslim is obliged to be grateful.

On the other hand, perhaps some of our brothers, our family, our friends, as well as our relatives and neighbors today, are not with us because they have been called by Allah SWT to face Him.

This is what encourages us to remain experts in gratitude, that we are still given health, still given the opportunity to bring our provisions to face it, we don't know, whether today, tomorrow, next month, next year and so on, what is clear is that we will face Allah SWT.

This is the promise of Allah SWT in the Qur'an letter Al-A'raf verse 34:

وَلِكُلِّ اُمَّةٍ اَجَلٌۚ فَاِذَا جَاۤءَ اَجَلُهُمْ لَا يَسْتَأْخِرُوْنَ سَاعَةً وَّلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُوْنَ ۝٣

“"Every people has a death. When their death has come, they cannot postpone it for a moment nor (also) prioritize (it).".(Qs Al-'Araf Verse 34).

Salawat along with greetings may always be bestowed upon the presence of the Great Prophet Muhammad SAW, Allah's Apostle who has taught us Islam and Tawhid so that we emerge from disbelief into the bright light of Islam.

If we want to enter heaven, with Rasulullah SAW, the condition is that we have to love Rasulullah SAW, we make him an idol, the problem of idols is a problem of principle, not a trivial problem, don't make a mistake in choosing an idol, who is our idol?? then we make him a role model in our lives..

Let's look at a shoheh hadith narrated by Imam al-Bukhori, in his authentic book Kitabu Fadhailissohabah Ridwanullahhi Alaihim he conveyed the history very well to Anas' friend Radiallahhuta'ala Anhu...

Anna Rajulan Saala Annabiyah Saw anis Sa'ah, fa qola matassa'ah? There was a person who asked Rasulullah SAW who came to him and asked about the end of the world. The friend asked Rasulullah SAW when the end of the world would be.

Then he answered “Wama a'datta Laha” What are your preparations for the apocalypse?

It was as if the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) were saying to him, "You ask about the time of the apocalypse, so what are your preparations? Are you ready?"

Then the friend answered “Laa Syai' Illaa, An ni Uhibbulllaha Warasulahu Saw”.

"I don't have any preparations, it's just that I love Allah and His Messenger Muhammad SAW."

So my friend said, I don't have much preparation, Rasulullah, but I love Allah, and I love you, O Raulullah Saw. Then what was the Prophet's answer? “Anta ma'a man ahbabta” you and your lover, if you love Allah SWT, and if you love Rasulullah Saw, then you will enter heaven, with Rasulullah Saw.

Then, Anas' friend, the narrator of this hadith, said, "Fama Farihna Bisyaiin, Farohna biqaulin Nabi Saw, "Anta Ma'a man ahbabta" We have never been happy with anything as much as we are happy with the hadith of the Prophet SAW, You are with your lover.

Then, Anas's friend continued, Fa ana Uhibbun Nabi Saw, Wa Aba Bakrin, Wa Umar, Wa arju an akuna Ma'ahum, fi hubbiya hum. Wain lam a'amal bi mistli a'malihim”

I really love the Prophet Muhammad SAW, I love Abu Bakr's friend, I love Umar's friend, and I hope that I will gather with them in Heaven, even though my practices are still not like theirs..

The Muslim congregation performs Friday prayers, may Allah have mercy on them..

We come back again, the problem of idols is not a trivial problem, not a small problem.. if we choose the wrong idol or person we use as an example then we and that person will be together, maybe in heaven, maybe even in hell.. Na'uzubillah.. God forbid..

If you love Muhammad Saw, love your friends, especially al-Khulafa Arrosiduun, Abu Bakr, Umar bin Khattab, Usman Bin Affan, Ali bin Abi Talib Radiallahu anhum Ajmaiin, we will gather with them in heaven, but if we love unbelievers, wicked people, people who like to commit immoral acts, people who like to gamble, like to drink alcohol, and people who are proud of Allah, then he will be with them in Hell. God forbid…

Therefore, we pray to Allah that we are all among those who love the Messenger of Allah, so that we can gather with Him in Heaven later. Amen, O Mujibasshoilin…

There is a verse in the Qur'an, namely a great verse, if we want to gather with good people in the heaven of Allah SWT, namely the letter An-Nisa verses 69-70, which reads:

وَمَنۡ يُّطِعِ اللّٰهَ وَالرَّسُوۡلَ فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ مَعَ God willing وَالصِّدِّيۡقِيۡنَ وَالشُّهَدَآءِ وَالصّٰلِحِيۡنَ ۚ وَحَسُنَ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ رَفِيۡقًا ؕ‏ ٦٩
may Allah bless him and give him peace

"And whoever obeys Allah and (His) Messenger, they will be with those on whom Allah has bestowed favors, namely: the Prophets, the shiddiiqiin, the martyrs, and the pious. And those are the best of friends. This is a gift from Allah, and Allah knows enough about what we hide and what we reveal" (An Nisa: 69-70) (An-Nisa: 69-70)

This verse says, if we want to gather with the prophets, Siddikiin, Syuhada, was Sholihiin, then the condition is "And may Allah grant us peace” Obedient to Allah and Obedient to the Messenger of Allah.

If we look Asbabunnuzuul, because of the revelation of this verse, al-Hafizd Ibn Katsir brought the story of a friend who loved the Prophet, could not wait if he did not meet the Messenger of Allah, but he did not mention the name of that friend, while Imam al-Qurthubi in his interpretation, Al-Jaami' Liahkamil Qur'an, mentioning the name of the friend is “Tsauban”. This friend of Tsauban, was the servant of the Prophet Muhammad, this friend really loved the Prophet Muhammad, and this friend could not stand it if he did not meet the Prophet Muhammad Saw. Very impatient if I don't meet Rasulullah SAW.

It is said that one day, Tsauban's friend did not meet the Prophet SAW, and Tsauban's friend's mind was in chaos, confused, to the point that his body was thin and dry, his face was pale, he was very sad, and very anxious, because he did not meet the Prophet SAW.

Finally one day, Tsauban's friend met Rasulullah Saw, then Rasulullah asked him,,

"Maa Gayyaro lau son ya Tsaubaan" O Tsauban, what makes you like this? Why do you look emaciated, your face is pale, you look sad, you look restless and miserable, O Tsaubaan, what happened?

Then Tsauban answered, “O Rasulullah, maa bi dorrun wala wajaaun, gairo anni idza lam arookaa, istaktu Ilaika, Was taw Hastu wihsyatan shadidah, hatta Alqoo,

“O Messenger of Allah, I am not sick, I am not in any danger, it's just that, O Messenger of Allah, if I don't meet you, I miss you, and I feel very lonely and alone, until I actually meet you, O Messenger of Allah.”

"Tsumma zakartu akhiirota, wa akhofu alla aroka hunakaa. Lianni Aroftu annaka turfa' ma'annnabiyyiin, wa anni indakholtu Jannah, kuntu fii manzilatin yaa Anna manzilatik wa illam Adkhul, lam arookaabadaa"

"O Messenger of Allah, when I was sad like that, I remembered that in the afterlife, O Messenger of Allah, you will be in the afterlife, have a high rank with the Prophets, I, O Messenger of Allah, if I enter heaven, I will be lower in rank to you, O Messenger of Allah, I will not be able to meet you in heaven. Later, even if I enter heaven, Meanwhile, if I do not enter heaven, O Messenger of Allah, then I will not be able to meet you. you forever,"

This is the history of the asbabun nuzul, the revelation of the letter (An Nisa above, Verses 69-70)

The Muslim congregation performs Friday prayers, may Allah have mercy on them..

Why should we love the Prophet Muhammad? Then who is the Messenger of Allah, so that Muslims are required to love him?

This is where the scholars say, there are 3 (three) types of knowledge that every Muslim is obliged to learn.

The first "Knowledge of Allah" getting to know Allah SWT, learning Tauhid, learning the straight creed,

The second, "Understanding the Prophet Muhammad SAW, we study the Prophet's sirah, or his Da'wah journey, we study the Prophet's Sunnah, and imitate him.

How do we love the Prophet when we don't know him??

And the last is "Knowledge of Islam" recognize Islam as the religion of Allah SWT.

We study Islamic jurisprudence, we study Islamic knowledge, with Islamic knowledge we will know Allah better and always be close to Him.

Muslims are required to know and study these 3 (three) types of knowledge.

If we forget Allah, forget the Messenger of Allah, and forget Islam as the greatest blessing in our lives, then we are among the arrogant Muslims who live without shame in this world... this arrogance will lead to “Hubbuddunia” or love only for the world..

The Muslim congregation performs Friday prayers. May Allah have mercy on them.

Love for Rasulullah is something absolute that every Muslim must have, do we remember when Rasulullah fought for Islam with his wealth and life, for the sake of Islam and his people whom he loved? Rasulullah rejected the mountain of gold, which Allah offered him, Subhanallah..

Do we remember when in the battle of Uhud the Prophet was injured and his teeth were cracked when he was attacked by infidel troops, in order to fight for Islam and his people?

And do we remember when he was expelled from Mecca, his homeland, and he was willing to emigrate for the sake of the Da'wah of Islam and his people whom he loved, Subhanallah...

Finally, the message of Rasulullah SAW, before he died, namely,, Ummati,, Ummaatii, Ummatii..

My people, my people, my people..

The Muslim congregation performs Friday prayers. May Allah have mercy on them.

Thus, hopefully we don't forget to keep praying to him “Allahumma salli ala Muhammad Wa'alaalihi Muhammad, in every prayer we pray.. And hopefully we will be among the people who will be with him someday in Heaven. Amen, O Lord of the worlds.

may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you
