Friday congregational meeting blessed by Allah.
This year, Ramadan greeted us with two different timings. Some began on February 18th, while many began last Thursday. Beneath these differences, shines the glory of brotherhood that unites our hearts under the auspices of the Indonesian sky, especially in the land of Pariri Lema Bariri, West Sumbawa Regency.
Indeed, this diversity is not a dividing barrier, but rather a string of beads of wisdom and a wealth of scientific treasures that we continue to preserve with love, as proof that in our different ways, we still prostrate ourselves in the hope of the same Divine pleasure.
Determining the starting line for fasting is a spiritual journey in reading natural signals. Through Ru'yatul hilal bi fi'ly, eyes and heart unite in solemnity to witness the birth of a tiny new crescent moon at the end of the sky. This sacred tradition of seeing the appearance of the new moon directly is a form of love that originates from Divine revelation in Surah Al-Baqarah verse 189.
يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْأَهِلَّةِ ۖ قُلْ هِيَ مَوَاقِيتُ لِلنَّاسِ وَالْحَجِّ
“"They ask you (Muhammad) about the crescent moon. Say, 'It is (indicator of) time for humans and (the pilgrimage of) Hajj,'..."‘ (QS. Al-Baqarah : 189)
Ladies and gentlemen… Fasting can also be achieved through the Hisab Wujudul Hilal (Hydraulic Crescent Sighting) method, an art of reading God's signs through precise calculations. Here, the presence of the crescent is recognized not only through what is perceived by the eye, but also through the certainty of its existence, which meets certain requirements.
In addition, there is also the KHGT method, which uses a single global matrix with its own criteria. This calculation model is based on the words of Allah SWT in Surah Yasin, verses 39-40:
وَالْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنٰهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتّٰى عَادَ كَالْعُرْجُوْنِ الْقَدِيْمِ لَا الشَّمْسُ يَنْۢبَغِيْ لَهَآ اَنْ تُدْرِكَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing فَلَكٍ يَّسْبَحُوْنَ
And We have appointed the month of manzilah-manzilah, so that (after he reaches the last manzilah) he returns as an old bunch. It is impossible for the sun to get to the moon and night cannot precede day. And each circulates in its orbit. (QS. Yasin : 39-40)
Friday Congregation Session Blessed by Allah
As the dawn of Ramadan greets us with a contrast between the decrees of our leaders and the ijtihad of our knowledge seekers, let these differences not become a barrier separating our brotherhood. For, on every prayer rug, both bow before the same source of light: the pure word of God and the wisdom of our trusted scholars.
Therefore, our most important task is to ensure that our hearts are clear and untainted by the fog of arrogance or the feeling of being the sole possessor of truth. We must not let our tongues, moistened by remembrance of God, become sharp by belittling those who follow a different path. I seek refuge in Allah from all evil
May this month, whose skies are adorned with forgiveness, not pass us by, leaving us empty without a chance to savor the sweetness of its blessings. How lost are the souls who bathe in the pool of Ramadan, only to return home with the sting of hunger and the parchedness of thirst.
Really, we don't want to be travelers who are exhausted but don't reach their destination, including those who were warned by the holy words of the Prophet ﷺ through his soul-shaking words.
God willing
"How many people fast but they don't get anything from their fast except hunger and thirst.” (HR. Ath-Thabrani).

Islam is a lake of peace, a message Mercy for the Universe which forbids division and glorifies ukhuwah above all else. There is no room for hatred in the purity of the Shari'a, because true faith is built on a solid foundation of love and brotherhood. Like the light that guides the universe, Allah SWT has emphasized the nature of this love in Surah Al-Anbiya 107
وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ
“"We did not send you, O Muhammad, but as a mercy for all mankind"”
Muslims are blessed by Allah
Under the auspicious sky of Ramadan, let us expand our ocean of patience and guard our hearts against the dark whispers of division. Embrace every difference with the beauty of mutual forgiveness, for in sincere forgiveness, our faith finds its perfection and our piety reaches its peak. As the light of Divine guidance radiates in Surah Al-Hujurat, verse 10:
God willing God willing
“"Believers are actually brothers. Therefore, reconcile (improve relations) between your two brothers and fear Allah, so that you may receive mercy.". (QS. Al-Hujurat : 10)

May the Most Gracious Allah always adorn our every breath with blessings, prolong our lives under the protection of His pleasure, and grant us excellent health to carry out worship in this holy month.
May He wash our hearts with sincere coolness, so that with every prostration and deed we give birth to a person who is not only close to His Throne spiritually (spirituality), but also a reflection of love for others through social piety within society. May this Ramadan mold us into truly pious individuals. Amen, O Lord of the Universe
