Meaning: "The month of Ramadan, the month in which the Koran was revealed as guidance for humans and explanations regarding that guidance and the distinction (between right and that ba-til). (QS. Al-Baqarah: 185).
The month of Ramadan will soon be upon us. Here are some important preparations to consider. May we always be blessed with goodness, health, and long life so that we can achieve our highest status. piety before Allah SWT. Here are some important preparations to welcome the holy month of Ramadan.
First: Be happy about the arrival of the month of Ramadan
As the month of Ramadan approaches, the importance of preparation becomes increasingly clear. Ramadan is considered a month full of blessings, where Muslims around the world observe fasting as one of the pillars of Islam.
However, the opportunity to improve the quality of worship does not depend solely on the physical performance of fasting. Thorough mental, emotional, and spiritual preparation is essential to maximize the spiritual experience you will have during this holy month.
As the month of Ramadan is approaching, believers are expected to show signs of joy in welcoming the month of Ramadan as a noble month, because Allah's mercy will be opened wide for Muslims.
This feeling of joy needs to be transmitted to our fellow Muslims, relatives and family members by reminding us that in the month of Ramadan there is a lot of valuable momentum that should not be wasted. Among other things, Allah SWT opens the doors of forgiveness for His servants, and even the rewards for Muslims' charity will be multiplied.
God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing
Meaning: "The month of Ramadan has come, a month full of blessings, so Allah requires you to fast in that month. At that time the gates of heaven are opened, the gates of hell are closed, the devils are bound and in that month there is also a night that is better than a thousand months." (Narrated by Ahmad)
Second: Prioritize Quality of Worship over Quantity
As we welcome the holy month of Ramadan, it is crucial for us to understand and apply the principles contained in the Prophet's hadith, which emphasize the quality of worship over its quantity. In this blessed month, we often get caught up in quantitative worship routines, such as performing prayers or reading the Quran in large quantities, without considering the meaning and quality of those acts of worship.
One of the relevant hadiths in this regard is,
God willing
"O people. Do deeds according to your abilities. Indeed, Allah is not bored until you are bored. And indeed, the deeds that are most loved by Allah are those that are done continuously, even if they are small." (HR. Bukhari and Muslim).
The quality of our worship is important, but quantity follows suit. How strong and capable are we in performing a worship? It depends on our commitment. (steadfast) Our own and spiritual capabilities. Worship doesn't have to be extensive or strenuous. Simply perform simple acts of worship consistently.
God also does not see that forms of worship are directed at those who are rich, have high positions, classy social strata, have lots of wealth, magnificent houses, our appearance and appearance and so on. However, the goodness of worship lies in our hearts and deeds.
God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. صُوَرِكُمْ love وَأَعْمَالِكُمْ
Has narrated to us from Abu Hurairah he said; Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Indeed, Allah does not look at your appearance and wealth, but Allah looks at your heart and your deeds." (HR. Muslim 4651).
This hadith reminds us that intention and sincerity in worship are crucial. We should focus more on worship that can have a deeper spiritual impact, such as reading the Quran with understanding and performing prayers with devotion. solemn, and pray with great hope.
It's important to realize that worship performed with awareness and sincerity is more meaningful. When we do something with good intentions, even if it's small, it's considered better by Allah.
This is a good time to reflect on our intentions in worship, be selective in choosing the type of worship we perform, and prioritize quality over quantity. In this way, our Ramadan will be not only a time for worship but also a time for profound learning about the meaning of each good deed we perform.
Third: Improving Morals and Social Interaction
As we enter the month of Ramadan, the virtue of worship is not only measured by the performance of rituals, but also by the morals and social interactions we demonstrate toward others. Referring to the hadith, which states: "The best people are those who are most useful to others" (Hadith History of ath-Thabrani).
This hadith serves as a reminder of the importance of our attitudes and behavior in our daily lives, especially during this holy month. During Ramadan, we not only fast from food and drink, but are also expected to fast from negative behavior, such as anger, criticism, or selfishness.
Improving morals in the month of Ramadan can be done in several ways. First, We can start by speaking kindly and politely to others. For example, when interacting with family, friends, or even strangers, use language that conveys politeness and respect.
Second, Be active in maintaining good relationships with your neighbors. Simply visiting them or providing iftar meals can be a concrete first step in strengthening ties.
ThirdIt's important for us to avoid gossip or bad-mouthing others. In the context of Ramadan, guarding our tongues is highly recommended. We should also strive to listen well and provide support to those around us. Final, there's nothing wrong with being contentment or contentment with the sustenance we have. This will foster a deep sense of gratitude and improve our social interactions with others.
From spreading kindness to strengthening our connections with others, every action we take during Ramadan is an integral part of our worship. By improving our morals and social interactions, it is hoped that the quality of our worship during this blessed month will further improve, resulting in a more harmonious and enjoyable life for all.
And Allah knows best
