The sentence written in the title of this article is an excerpt from the words of the Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him. When some of the Prophet's companions asked him about the reasons behind his enthusiasm for increasing fasting in the month of Ramadan, Sha'ban more than other months, then this noble man answered:
God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَرَمَضَانَ
“That is the month that many people forget, it is located between the months of Rajab and Ramadan" (HR. Ahmad and Nasa'i)
Al-Imam Ibn Rajab in his book Lata'if Al-Ma'arif explaining the very good benefits related to this hadith, he said:
استحباب عمارة أوقات غفلة الناس بالطاعة وأن ذلك محبوب لله
“This is evidence for the sunnah of enriching people's times of neglect with obedience, and indeed this is loved by Allah.”[1]
The words of Imam Ibn Rajab explain that Allah really loves His servants who try to always fill their time with goodness even when other people fill it with things that are not useful.
This is also the reason why some scholars recommend filling the time between Maghrib and Isha with prayer, which is usually called salat. awwabin or some other scholars call it prayer ghaflah or prayers that are performed at times when they are not paying attention, this is because most people are not paying attention at that time, either because they are eating dinner or because they are resting.[2].
So let us fill all our time with goodness, with worship, and with dhikr of Allah.
We remind all of us that the month Sha'ban This is the gateway to Ramadan, and we remind all of us with the words of Abu Bakr Al-Warraq Al-Balkhi:
God willing
“The month of Rajab is the month for planting, Sha'ban is the month for watering the plants, and then Ramadan is the month for harvesting them.”[3]
May Allah SWT give us the blessings of health, long life, steadfastness, and a healthy body and soul, to fill the month. Sha'ban this is with good deeds. We are given the strength to be able to carry out the sunnahs on the moon Sha'ban This.
Until finally, we will be met with the great month, the noble month, the month that is longed for by all Muslims, namely the month of Ramadan. The month where the reward for good deeds will be multiplied by Allah SWT. Amen, O Lord of the worlds
