First Sermon
may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing God bless you يَوْمِ الدِّينِ. God.
All praise is due to Allah, we praise Him, ask for His help and forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of ourselves and from the evil of our deeds. Whoever is guided by Allah, no one can lead him astray. And whoever Allah leads astray, no one can guide him.
I bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship but Allah alone, with no partner. And I testify that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, there is no prophet after him. O Allah, pour out shalawat and greetings to our Prophet Muhammad, as well as to his family and companions, and anyone who follows them well until the Day of Judgment. Amma ba'du
Ma'asyiral Muslimin Rahimakumullah
Let us always increase our devotion to Allah SWT. with true piety, namely by carrying out all His commands and avoiding all His prohibitions, whether overt or hidden.
Piety is the best provision that will lead us to eternal happiness by His side. Allah SWT. says in His noble Book:
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ God willing
“"O you who believe, fear Allah with true devotion to Him; and never die unless you are a Muslim." (QS. Ali 'Imran [3]: 102)
This verse reminds us of the importance of maintaining faith and piety until the end of our lives, because only with this provision of faith and piety can we hope to achieve the pleasure and paradise of Allah SWT.
Ladies and gentlemen of the Friday congregation who glorify Allah Almighty
On this auspicious occasion, the preacher would like to deliver a sermon on the theme "The KSB Card Advances to Promote the Welfare of the Community." This theme aligns with Islamic teachings, which strongly emphasize the importance of social awareness, mutual assistance, and efforts to achieve a prosperous life for all members of society. Allah SWT says in the Quran:
وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَىٰ ۖ وَلَا تَعَاوَنُوا عَم اللَّهَ ۖ إِنَّ God bless you
“"And help you in (doing) righteousness and piety, and do not help in committing sins and transgressions. And fear Allah, verily, His punishment is very severe." (QS. Al-Ma'idah [5]: 2)
This verse is a fundamental basis in Islam regarding our obligation to help each other in goodness and piety. The welfare of the people is a form of goodness that is highly recommended.
Islam emphasizes not only ritual worship but also a strong social and community dimension. A true Muslim is one who benefits others.
My brothers and sisters in faith, happy Friday congregation,
The concept of human welfare in Islam is a holistic and comprehensive vision. It is not solely measured by the fulfillment of material needs, but also encompasses spiritual, moral, educational, health, and social justice dimensions.
The prosperity envisioned by Islam is falah, meaning prosperity in this world and the hereafter, and hayatan thayyibah, a good and noble life. Achieving this complete prosperity for the community requires collective and systematic efforts from various parties.
In the modern context, we see various initiatives born of concern for the social conditions of the community. One such initiative is the "KSB Maju Card" program.
Whatever the name, this kind of program, if managed well and based on Islamic values, can be an effective means to eradicate poverty, reduce inequality, and improve the quality of life of the community, especially for those in need.
Islamic Principles in Achieving Welfare through Modern Systems:
First, Islamic Brotherhood and Ta'awun (Brotherhood and Mutual Assistance):
Islam teaches us to live as one unit, like a building that supports each other, or a body where if one part hurts, the whole body feels the pain. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
God bless you وَتَعَاطُفِهِمْ مَثَلُ الْجَسَدْ تَدَاعَى لَهُ سَائِرُ الْجَسَدِ بِالسَّهَرِ وَالْحُمَّى
“"The parable of believers in their mutual love, compassion, and mercy is like that of one body. If one part of it is sick, the whole body suffers from sleeplessness and fever."” (HR. Bukhari and Muslim).
A “welfare card” such as the KSB Maju Card can be a concrete symbol of this spirit of ta'awun, where a portion of society that is able or the government, through its policies, strives to help ease the burden on its less fortunate brothers and sisters.
This is a concrete manifestation of collective concern to ensure that no one is left behind in the struggle for a better life.
Second, Takaful Ijtima'i (Islamic Social Security):
Draft takaful It goes far beyond conventional insurance. It is a social security system based on the principles of mutual risk-sharing, burden-sharing, and mutual protection among members of society.
A welfare program card can be one instrument of this takaful ijtima'i, providing access to basic needs such as food, healthcare, or education. This reflects the Islamic vision of building a strong and resilient society, where every individual feels secure and has their basic needs met.
Third, The Importance of Giving (Infaq and Alms):
The Qur'an and Hadith repeatedly emphasize the virtue of giving and sharing wealth. Allah SWT. said:
God willing message
“"Whoever wants to lend to Allah with a good loan, Allah will multiply (payment) to him many times over. And Allah narrows and expands (the sustenance) and to Him you will be returned."” (QS. Al-Baqarah [2]: 245).
Programs like the KSB Maju Card, funded by the regional budget, are an implementation of this mandate. Givers, both individuals and institutions, are truly investing in the afterlife, the rewards of which will never end.
Fourth, Honoring the Beneficiaries:
In Islam, helping the poor must be done in a way that honors them, maintains their dignity, and does not demean them. Structured and organized welfare programs, such as through a card system, are expected to minimize feelings of shame or inferiority among recipients, as assistance is provided systematically and respectfully.
The ultimate goal is empowerment, not just giving. We hope that beneficiaries will use this assistance as a means to rise above and, in turn, become part of those who give.
Friday congregation who are blessed by Allah SWT
The success of a welfare program like the "KSB Maju Card" lies not only in its distribution techniques, but also in the integrity and genuine intentions of all parties involved. Administrators must uphold their mandate, be transparent, and accountable.
Meanwhile, beneficiaries must also use the assistance wisely and productively in accordance with the program's objectives, always expressing gratitude to Allah SWT and striving to improve their own condition.
Let us support every good effort aimed at elevating the dignity of the community. Let us make every good initiative a bridge to attaining the pleasure of Allah SWT and a form of practicing the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, who never tired of calling for social awareness and solidarity among the community.
May Allah SWT. always bless all our efforts, make our country safe, peaceful and prosperous, and forgive our sins and the sins of all Muslims. Amen. Amen, O Lord of the Worlds
may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you.
