"Radical Islam" is a term often used to slander or accuse Islam of being violent, extremist, and so on. It has become common knowledge that the term "radical" is irresponsibly used and accepted as correct by all levels of society. Yet, Islam itself does not assign a specific label to its perfection.
Radical Islam, liberal Islam, fundamental Islam, conservative Islam, progressive Islam and various other labels that are forced to be 'attached' to Islam are just random terminology, peddlers with the clear intention of creating a negative stigma against the glory of Islam.
The terminology 'foreign' is continuously highlighted, raised, and blow-up, broadcast in the media mainstream, morning, noon, and night. So the public, without realizing it, has been forced to accept this terminology, even though some groups reject it and disapprove of it.
But that's how it is, 𝓑𝓾𝓽 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓢𝓱𝓸𝔀 𝓶𝓾𝓼𝓽 𝓰𝓸 𝓸𝓷. That stigma must remain consistent with the scenario. It must not stop. To the point where other terminology emerged to support the negative stigma against Islam, the so-called new term "terrorist" was born. Anyone who is radical in their religion (Islam) will be labeled a terrorist. A label that cannot be justified.
The September 11, 2001, 9/11 incident was a vicious movement launched by the West as an attempt to attack and wage war against Islamic organizations and countries. George W. Bush, the 43rd President of the United States, who served from 2001 to 2009, is the man responsible and the originator of the term "terrorist," which continues to be widely used today.
Of course, all of these terms have been thoroughly refined through various cases, tragedies, incidents, and so on. All of this leads to the stigma of marginalizing, cornering, and ostracizing Islam.
Returning to "radicalism," which on the one hand has a positive meaning, namely "rooted," or literally meaning (radix), source, origin, or basis. The problem then arises when radicalism is now understood in a shorthand way, simply as an extremist ideology.
The impact or effect is that Muslims are hesitant to show their faith. his Islamic identity. In fact, this identity is the result of study, research, and the search for pure Islamic values that originate from the true sources or roots of Islam. Therefore, another assumption arises, '𝙅𝙞𝙠𝙖 𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙞 𝙄𝙨𝙡𝙖𝙢 𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙢 𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙣 𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙠𝙝𝙞𝙧 𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙡, 𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙪 𝙙𝙞 𝙘𝙖𝙥 𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙡‘'‘
This assumption is undoubtedly very damaging, weakening, injurious, and disruptive to the social and religious order of Muslims, due to a misconception of the concept of religious thought. This assumption leads Muslims to lack confidence in their religion, worship, and the rituals they perform.
Then, if examined ideologically, the terminology 'radical' is a package or part of the 'Liberalism' process in which a Muslim in theory and practice must be distanced from his religious roots, sources and basis.
There's no such thing as radical Islam or any other label attached to it. Even if some Muslims commit violence, don't blame Islam itself; it's a small group of individuals. Again, blame the adherents, not Islam itself. Islam came with perfect faith, teachings, laws, and rules from its Creator, Allah SWT.
