I'm sorry I'm sorry

The Muslim congregation of Friday prayers, may Allah have mercy on them.
We always thank Allah SWT. for all the abundance of His mercy and taufiq. As we say salawat and greetings to our Prophet Muhammad SAW. We are grateful, by increasing our faith and devotion to Allah SWT. We are grateful because we are able to carry out all His commandments and be patient over all His prohibitions.
Then, we are grateful to be given health and strength, so that we as Muslims who are still alive, can gather together in order to do what Allah SWT commands in the Al-Qur'an surah Al-Jumu'ah verse 9 which reads:
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلَاةِ مِنْ God bless you God bless you
O you who believe, when you have been called upon to perform prayers on Friday, then immediately remember Allah, and leave buying and selling, this is better if you know. (QS. Al-Jum'ah, verse 9)
The Muslim congregation of Friday prayers, may Allah have mercy on them.
We are on Friday second, the month of Shawwal 1447 H. Ramadhan has left us for two weeks. Without any news, whether in the coming year, we will still be able to meet Ramadhan, achieve its virtues and glories, or vice versa, we will first be called by Allah SWT.
This is what makes people pious, and people believe, They continue to pray from this month of Shawwal until the month of Rabiul Awal. They continue to pray that their worship during Ramadan will be accepted by Allah SWT. And they pray that they will be reunited with the next Ramadan.
The Friday congregation which is glorified by Allah SWT
Shawwal It means improvement. What should be emphasized? It means improving the quality of worship, faith, and piety. It means improving one's self-esteem. Isn't it true that by improving worship, faith, and piety, humans will become noble? Allah SWT says;
إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ or
Indeed, the noblest person among you is the one who is most pious. (QS. Al-Hujurat : 13)
The Muslim congregation of Friday prayers, may Allah have mercy on them.
However, the reality we see in society is quite the opposite. Shawwal has become a month of decline. There's a decline in worship, and a decline in self-esteem. A decline in good deeds. Among the most obvious indicators is the decline in Quran reading and recitation. Mosques are becoming less frequented, and worldly activities are once again weakening faith and the spirit of worship!
This contradicts the very meaning of Shawwal, which is improvement. Isn't this like dirtying a white cloth that has been washed with the utmost care? It becomes stained again. It becomes black again and increasingly dull.
Friday congregation, blessed by Allah,
This phenomenon actually shows us that fasting for such a person may not have brought him or her to a level of piety. It doesn't bring him or her closer to God. Instead, their relationship with God becomes strained, gradually growing more distant.
This phenomenon is an indicator easily recognized by anyone who pays close attention. We can also use the Prophet's hadith as a guideline to which we should pay close attention:
مَنْ كَانَ يَوْمُهُ شَرًّا مِنْ أَمْسِهِ فَهُوَ مَلْعُوْنَ
“Whoever's day is worse than yesterday, woe to him.”
So what are the deeds of a Muslim in the month of Shawwal? Departing from the general rules of the Prophet's hadith, and at the same time in line with the meaning of Shawwal, there must be an increase this month. And this improvement is none other than starting from an attitude of istiqamah. Stick to the religion of Allah, walk straight on its teachings:
فَٱسْتَقِمْ كَمَآ أُمِرْتَ وَمَن تَابَ مَعَكَ وَلَا God willing
So be steadfast, as you have been commanded and (also) those who have repented along with you and do not exceed the limits. Indeed, He is All-Seeing of what you do. (QS. Huud: 112)
This form of istiqamah attitude in charity is by doing it continuously, continuously, even though the charity is small, or small. From 'Aisha May Allah be pleased with him-, said that the Messenger of Allah May Allah bless him and grant him peace said,
God willing
"The deeds most loved by Allah Ta'ala are continuous deeds, even if they are small." (Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim)
Therefore, the good deeds we have practiced during Ramadan should be maintained throughout Shawwal and the following months. We can continue reciting the Quran at home. During Shawwal, we can replace night prayers, or tarawih, with tahajud prayers.
We must also maintain the infaq and sadaqah we have given. Likewise, let us cultivate the values of faith in this month of Shawwal.
The Muslim congregation of Friday prayers, may Allah have mercy on them.
Indeed, there are not many special practices in the month of Shawwal, compared to other months. However, Allah provides an opportunity in the form of a sunnah deed in this month, namely fasting in Shawwal.
Fasting in the month of Shawwal is a sunnah in order to increase our worship and the quality of our faith in Allah SWT. And the specialness of fasting is... sunnah this is, we will be rewarded with one year's reward, if we do it six-day fast in this month of Shawwal. Rasulullah SAW:
Whoever fasts in the month of Ramadan, then follows it with six days in the month of Shawwal, then it is like fasting for a year.(Narrated by Muslim)
How is it implemented? Does the Shawwal fast have to be done sequentially or is it permissible? Sayyid Sabiq in Sunnah Fiqh explained that according to Imam Ahmad's opinion, the Shawwal fast may be done sequentially, or not sequentially. And there is no superiority of the first method over the second method.
Meanwhile, according to the school of thought Shafi'i and Hanafi, Syawal fasting, it is better to carry it out sequentially from the date 2 Shawwal to 7 Shawwal. Therefore, parents who understand this fast will immediately fast from the 2nd of Shawwal until the following six days. Therefore, ladies and gentlemen, blessed by Allah SWT, we still have 14 days left. For those who haven't started fasting Shawwal, let's make the intention to fast Shawwal to worship Allah SWT.
The Muslim congregation of Friday prayers, may Allah have mercy on them.
A decrease in charity in the month of Shawwal, once again, is something we should avoid. The month of Shawwal should be a very decisive month of struggle for Muslims. A month of increase, not a month of decrease in worship.
The month of Shawwal should not diminish our worship and the quality of our lives. In fact, in accordance with the meaning of Shawwal, our worship should increase by striving for excellence. steadfastness and improve the quality of worship and self, including by fasting 6 days in the month of Shawwal.
Let's take advantage of it the month of Shawwal this is the best. We think about it charity and the good deeds we do. May Allah always guide us to the straight path. And may Allah grant us good health, and lift the sicknesses of our families and relatives. So that we may perform our worship to the fullest.
Amen, O Lord of the Worlds.
