In the meeting silaturrahmi In this regard, many agendas were discussed related to literacy programs and activities carried out by the Regional Archives and Library Service, West Sumbawa Regency.

The Archives and Library Service is the heart of literacy, always committed to educating the public. This is demonstrated by several literacy programs implemented by the literacy sub-division within the Regional Archives and Library Service.

On that occasion, the literacy section explained several activity programs carried out at the Library office, such as small drawing and coloring classes, literacy tours, educational tours, MC training, and activities directly reaching the community through a mobile library car.

The Library also welcomes any institution interested in collaborating and building partnerships to advance literacy in West Sumbawa Regency. Building literacy is synonymous with building a scientific civilization. A scientific civilization begins with the habit of reading, followed by writing.

The Relima team also emphasized the importance of a culture of literacy in developing intelligent and high-quality human resources (HR). Therefore, the spirit of creating a literate generation should begin now and be prepared for the golden Indonesia of 2045.

Several educational literacy programs are currently underway, as are future programs planned by the Library Service and the Relima Team. These include book reviews, workshop and literacy training, as well as other literacy programs. The Relima team also touched on several book donations from the National Library of Indonesia, which were provided to several Reading Parks and Village Libraries in West Sumbawa Regency.

Assistance from the National Library is a form of concern from the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia to advance and encourage literacy activities in each location, so that it has an impact on residents and the surrounding community.
