Thanksgiving Advice for the End of the Beginning of the Year Exams
The start of 2025 at the Al-Ikhlas Taliwang Islamic Boarding School has begun. This was marked by a thanksgiving ceremony marking the end of the year's final exams.
The Head of the Al-Ikhlas Taliwang Islamic Boarding School, Dr. KH. Lalu. Zulkifli Muhadli, BA. SH. MM, or commonly known as Buya Zul, at the Thanksgiving event for the beginning of the year exams expressed his gratitude to all the exam committee, teachers, and the final 6th grade students of KMI who were directly involved in making the Islamic Boarding School's agenda a success.

The event proceeded solemnly, with teachers and students immersed in a roar of gratitude. The event took place in the Al-Hambra building of the Al-Ikhlas Islamic Boarding School in Taliwang.

There are 3 (three) ways for people to be grateful, according to Buya Zul's message: First Thank God for completing the exam and being able to answer the questions. Second There are those who are grateful that the exam is over, but for them the exam was just ordinary.
Third There are those who are grateful to God and realize that they must prepare themselves every day to study, even when it's not exam time. This is the characteristic of a santri (Islamic boarding school student) who will be successful in life.
This third type of student is one who is truly determined to continue learning at all times. He always tries, intending to learn every day. He even prepares himself to study when he returns from vacation to the Islamic boarding school.
This third category of students understands the importance of studying and seeking knowledge. They don't wait until exam time comes to study. They realize they must prepare for exams now. They remain determined to study diligently, studying to seek knowledge. consentâ Allah SWT.
Pre-Vacation Messages and Advice
During a pre-holiday advice session for Buaya students, Zul touched on several issues widely discussed on social media, including national television coverage of the Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School in Kediri, East Java.
Buya Zul alluded to media journalists who cover news and the activities of students at Islamic boarding schools. However, what they broadcast is strangely at odds with the activities of students at Islamic boarding schools in general.
