Hairul, MM welcomed the implementation of the West Sumbawa MUI Regional Working Meeting as a forum for gathering Muslim scholars and intellectuals.

ā€œ"I truly appreciate this MUI Regional Working Meeting and support the programs of the MUI in West Sumbawa Regency. I find the theme of this meeting to be positive, as it includes the phrase 'Synergy of Ulama and Umara'. Of course, as the regional government, we continue to support it, particularly through budgetary support. Furthermore, the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) is an official government partner organization with a structure extending from the central government to the regional governments," concluded the Regional Secretary of West Sumbawa.

This year's MUI West Sumbawa Regency Regional Working Meeting-I activity carries the theme "Strengthening the Synergy between Ulama and Umara' Towards a Civilized, Empowered, Advanced, and Extraordinary West Sumbawa"’

This theme is considered appropriate, reflecting the realities of the West Sumbawa community. Many problems and challenges within the community must be resolved through coordination and synergy. scholars And umara'’.

Social ills are becoming increasingly disturbing. In this context, religious scholars play a crucial role in clarifying and offering concrete solutions to the community's problems. If these problems are not brought to the public for discussion, debate, and collective deliberation, it is feared that these societal ills will worsen and become deeply rooted.

In his report, the chairman of the committee for the First MUI Regional Working Meeting of West Sumbawa Regency, H. Sudirman, S.Ag, said that the MUI Regional Working Meeting was actually scheduled to take place in 2025. However, it was postponed due to the busy schedule and was postponed to 2026. However, the busy schedule did not dampen the committee's enthusiasm for working.

Participants in the First Regional Working Meeting of the MUI in West Sumbawa Regency consisted of the Advisory Council and its board members, the Daily Leadership Council, the chairs of each of the nine MUI Commissions, and MUI administrators from each sub-district, represented by the chairperson, secretary, and treasurer.

The agenda of the First Regional Working Meeting of the MUI of West Sumbawa Regency was filled with a Scientific Oration by the Chairman of the MUI Advisory Council, Dr. KH. Lalu Zulkifli Muhadli, BA.SH, MM. In the oration activity guided by moderator Ust. Sofian Hadi, S.Pd.M.Ag, Buya Zul gave a message of advice using scientific references and quoting several verses of the Qur'an and Hadith.

The key point emphasized by Buya Zul was that the West Sumbawa Regency MUI must become a forum for the Scientific Principles, framed within missionary activities for the community. Buya also touched on the meaning of the word 'ā€˜manners’ as the foundation of a civilization. Manners, civilized, civilization. Up to the concept of the Natural Civilization of West Sumbawa Regency.

Furthermore, Buya Zul also explained the important message of Sayyidina Ali, Ra., regarding the four pillars of civilization. First, Biadlil Umara'’ (Leader's Justice). Second, Bii ilmil Ulama'’ (Science of scholars/scholars). Third, Syakha'ul agnia (the generosity of the rich), Fourth,  Du'aul fuqora'’ (Prayer of the poor).

These four pillars of civilization are the prerequisites for building a strong civilization. No civilization can progress without unity among the umara' and ulama'. Therefore, the MUI must be able to address the community's issues based on knowledge, faith, and devotion to God.

The First Regional Working Meeting of the MUI in West Sumbawa Regency concluded with a group photo session. The photo session included all MUI administrators, including the Chair of the Advisory Board, the Chair of the Daily Council, the commission chairs, and MUI administrators from all sub-districts.

Following the series of agendas of the first, second, and third plenary sessions, the General Chair of the MUI for West Sumbawa Regency, TGH, Burhanuddin, QH, M.Pd.I, officially closed the first MUI regional working meeting. May Allah SWT grant him strength, faith, and steadfastness in carrying out his mandate as an MUI administrator in West Sumbawa Regency. Amen, Lord of the Worlds.
