In fact, there is no intention to write down this simple opinion note regarding the chaos of the nation's problems which are getting worse day by day. chaosPrimarily, regarding the reality of the high price of inter-Indonesian airline tickets that has recently become widespread. Prices that are beyond the comprehension of the Indonesian mind.
However, after reading various online media outlets with random headlines, my brain was wide open for comment. Furthermore, reading netizens' harsh comments, protests, complaints, and disagreements led me to the conclusion that I was left with no solution.
Reaction of the general public who read headline news especially in mainstream media in various platform such as television, news on the internet, online, offline, Both print and electronic media shook their heads, even carried away by the phrase "it doesn't make sense!" That's absurd! Aka "stupid," using the term RG. The reason is, several government policies or solutions from the elite of this unknown country seem to want to make "foreigners" the source of solutions.
Solutions for all sectors of growth and development, especially the industrialization of this country. Despite the current political climate, is this country truly lacking or losing expertise? So, this country, once an Asian Tiger, or a country once used as a teacher by the land of Upin-Ipin, always collaborates with "foreigners" in managing every sector, rather than seeking the aspirations of its own experts?
Back when, as a young child in elementary school, his teacher asked him, “What are your dreams for me, son?” the child answered innocently. “I want to be like Habibi, teacher.” The teacher nodded in agreement. She hoped that her students would be like Habibi in the future. Not only the teacher, but the parents also always prayed for their children, “Hopefully, one day, you will be a smart child like Habibi,” the mother thought.
After further investigation, it turns out that after growing up, the country bumpkin realized that this country had an icon of intelligence. No wonder this icon holds the title of the most intelligent person in Indonesia, and even in the world. He is Prof. Dr. Ing. H. Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie, who holds the title "The expert of experts, the essence of the essence." core of the core.” Borrowing Mr. Ndul's term.
Unfortunately, his intelligence was unable to influence the "foreign" forces still firmly entrenched in his beloved country. His expertise seemed difficult to realize on home soil. What more evidence was needed to test his genius and expertise? His grand ambition, after studying in Germany, was to return home in hopes of gaining government support for his airplane project. It failed. Even crushed.
Why were his brilliant proposals ignored? In fact, in 1995, he had designed the super-sophisticated N250 aircraft. It would become an air bridge between the islands of the Indonesian archipelago. However, until the end of his life, and to this day, the Dirgantara company, which was supposed to be able to complete the project, has been left helpless by foreign politics. The plane's remains lie abandoned, rusting and neglected.
Everyone surely knows the reason. If the N250 were successfully produced in Indonesia, the global aviation market would face a serious threat. Boeing and Airbus would never enter Indonesia. They would be left scrambling, desperately seeking a market.
And, automatically, there would never have been a time in history when a plane ticket price of 21 million rupiah would have made a national headline. There would have been no statement from the Minister of Transportation.; "Tickets are expensive, just take the bus" or the expression "Airplane tickets are expensive, blame Traveloka and Tiket.com." In conclusion, the president issued a fatwa "Invite 'foreign' airlines to reduce plane ticket prices."
It's as easy as that word 'foreign' that came out of the mouth of a president?
Is it that simple? Will air competition end if we invite 'foreign' airlines?
Where are the engineers, development experts, economists, industrialists, and other experts produced by this country's elite universities and renowned campuses? ITB, IPB, and even hundreds of other major universities. Are their abilities in building and managing this country below 'foreign' standards? So their genius is ignored and discarded like trash!
Is the role of 'foreigners' so important to this motherland? A motherland that allows its children to become spectators, scavengers, parking attendants, motorcycle taxi drivers, laborers, street remote control sellers, and even teachers who laboriously educate, teach, and instill dreams in the children, who after graduating from school and college become martabak sellers?
If "foreigners" are a priority, there's no need to ask who constitutes a minority. The answer isn't difficult. Look at the people who willingly live under the ruins of their own homes. Those who willingly starve under mine shafts and in dumps. That's the minority. A minority in a majority country. A majority that's never been a priority.
"The common people's breath is very short.. Seeing the fact that the land is abundant and very rich. Property only belongs to the ruler. It is haram to confiscate or check KaPeKa. The people are helpless. Watching the drama of the ruler. Savage. Greedy. Greedy and cruel." A poem from unanimous.
It's not that we don't trust the ruling elite. But, as indigenous people, we demand that trust. It's trust that's not given to our indigenous children to contribute to the advancement of our motherland. This trust is our only hope. It's the foundation of our lives. It's our spirit and our blood.
Trust that we will never betray. However, now that trust has been stolen by 'foreigners', stolen by 'foreigners', managed by 'foreigners', bought by 'foreigners'. Who knows how many years from now, Mother Earth will or will belong to 'foreigners' and truly everything will become 'foreign'. If even a belief can be taken away by 'foreigners' then there is nothing more important than that. Trust me! Except, just pray surrender to the Almighty, for the good of your beloved homeland.
If Habibi's genius expertise had not been noticed by the ruling elite in realizing the N250 as a sophisticated pioneer at that time, would the fate of the new R-80 prototype aircraft created by his son, Ilham Habibi, have suffered the same fate? Eroded? Crushed? By the 'foreign' AVTUR elite or vice versa, ABLE to become a solution in fighting 'foreign' hegemony in the motherland? Who knows! Time is hesitant to answer.
Wallahu'alam bisshowab.
