Clear and unequivocal! Evidence and arguments for truth in Islam. Neither relative nor relative. Simply put, if naqli evidence is used to prove a truth, then this evidence and argument are irrefutable!(Fadhil S. Hadi)
Human actions that are contrary to his knowledge and contrary to the orders given to him or orders given to other people, will not arise except from people who his thoughts are not straight and immature in his mind. In fact, this person is classified as someone with a mental disorder.[1]
Mental disorders, it turns out, don't just stem from physical disabilities, but can also stem from mental confusion and a confused understanding of scientific reasoning. This can affect a person's mental and emotional state, leading to confusion in assessing the truth.
Truth that isn't based on reason and knowledge can lead to conflicting decisions. Especially in matters of faith (religion), a person tends to justify the truth with their shallow scientific knowledge. How can someone with shallow knowledge and understanding be saved?
Of course, this question is important to answer. Because, currently, rationality is constantly pitted against religion as a foundation for belief. Reason is used to measure truth and belief without a clear dialogue between science, reason, and God's revelation.
Recently, an "activist" who gave a lecture to prominent figures and religious scholars about the significant role of Thomas Alva Edison, the inventor of the incandescent (electric) light bulb, has made a statement. The figure stated that "it would be very unfair if Thomas Alva Edison didn't go to heaven." He stated firmly.
“"The lamp that illuminates people reciting the Koran, illuminates the Grand Mosque, illuminates the Darah (recitation), illuminates people in need and illuminates this world. Would we be fair if Alva Edison went to hell? Even though that is Allah's prerogative."” The light is convincing.
This narrative of thought and understanding is erroneous and misleading. It's truly unfortunate that this statement emanates from the mind and scientific reasoning of a Muslim. Yet, within Muslims themselves, there is no guarantee that someone will enter heaven. Although that guarantee certainly exists, and it's true. There's no doubt about it. As for someone who adheres to a faith outside of Islam and wants to enter heaven, (how nice). Read the criteria carefully. QS. Ali 'Imran verse 19. And QS. Ali 'Imran: 85.
Maturity of mind and intellectual intelligence, it turns out, cannot guarantee that someone will find the ultimate truth. The ultimate truth here is the truth that can lead the mind, reason, and knowledge to find God and affirm Him. sharia and the laws determined by God.
Therefore, reason and science have clear standards, not just one-sided claims of belief. There must be proof, which is called argument (proof) or proof (argument). Evidence And proof is standard important in proving the truth. Without both it would be the truth relative (relative) which will give rise to confusion in making conclusions.
Islam, as a truth lays it out clearly argument And proof mentioned. As for argument in Islam is divided into two parts. First, naqli evidence. Second, rational argument. Evidence naqli is argument which relies on the text (al-Qur'an) which originates from God's revelation and the Hadith text which relies on words and deeds, qaulan wa fi'lan Prophet.
In this context, Islam, with its perfection, is able to present evidence of truth. This evidence of truth is certainly proven by proof (strong) argument. Here argument The Qur'an is concerned with truth;
First, argument Al-Qur'an letter Al-Baqarah verse 147. “"Al-haqqu mir rabbika falaa takunna minal-mumtarin"” (The truth is from your Lord, therefore you should never be one of those who doubt. Second, letter Al-Kahfi verse 29. “Wa qull-haqqu mir rabbikum, fa man syaa'a falyu'mim waman syaa'a falyakfur.” And say (Muhammad) the truth comes from your Lord; So whoever wants to (believe) let him believe and whoever wants to (disbelieve) let him disbelieve."”
The evidence and arguments for truth in Islam are clear and unambiguous. They are neither relative nor relative. A simple argument: if this argument is used to prove a truth, then the evidence and arguments are irrefutable. However, this evidence and argument is further strengthened by hadith or the words and actions of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
Both of these pieces of evidence and arguments might be viewed as rigid truths, as they stem from texts rather than rationality, intellect, or human reason. This argument needs to be explained: how does rationality contribute to the presentation of truth? This is the argument of advocates of rationality. They (admirers of reason) are dissatisfied with textual evidence that tends to be one-sided and textual.
“"Proof of rational truth is important, not just textual truth," is the reason used by those who are starting to be skeptical with courage. In the end, it will require empirical truth. There is nothing wrong if the truth must be proven empirically, but the main requirement must be to affirm the truth textually, not deny it.
Denying textual truth is tantamount to creating new problems. It will give rise to derivative problems. This will undoubtedly impact the mind and confuse knowledge. The mind weighs the truth, then produces confusing conclusions. This then opens the door to debate about truth.
Ultimately, truth confirms the mind's beliefs based on argument reason is in conflict. There is no conflict of reason if the truth naqli evidence acceptable to rational argument. Maybe this is the concept that the “activist” forgot.
Thomas Alva Edisan in naqli evidence cannot be defended from entering heaven. Although, with the benefit of doing good. Because, truth naqli evidence has no place in his beliefs and reason. There is no need to defend his beliefs, because it has become his choice, namely he has chosen infidels than faith.
“Fa man syaa'a falyu'mim waman syaa'a falyakfur.” Whether he chooses to believe or disbelieve is a decision of his mind. God has accompanied his mind to reach the truth. His mind is mature enough to choose and decide upon the truth. However, the truth his mind chooses cannot help him enter heaven.
If the language 'sporadic' is forced on Adison. Shahada (testify) to the truth argument naqli (a postulate based on God's revelation), in this context there may be hope or guarantee of entering heaven, even though you have to be cleansed first in hell. Unfortunately, this was not done.
So, if there are Muslims who want Thomas Alva Edison to go to heaven, just because of the benefits he provided, it is very naive, because these Muslims 'deny' it.‘ naqli evidence from God, with rational argument which is mature but wrong and misleading.
So, a strong message to these 'activists': Heaven has a key. The key is the sentence of Tawhid. “"There is no god but Allah"” (the shahada). In Islam, this is an absolute requirement, it cannot be denied by anyone who denies this condition, it means he has denied it naqli evidence as the main source of truth.
It could be that this activist has contracted the disease that Sheikh Yusuf Qardawi alleges in his book; he is experiencing mental disorders while experiencing disturbances in his mind.
Wallahua'lam bish shawaab.
