The Best Provisions to Welcome Your Baby

“"A child is a trust in the hands of his parents. His holy day is a pearl that is still raw and has not been carved or shaped. If he is accustomed to and taught with kindness, he will grow up to be kind. However, if he is accustomed to evil and is neglected like an animal is neglected, the child will surely be harmed and perish."“ _Imam Al-Ghazali.

Children are a mandate from God. Their presence is the dream of every couple, after the words... ‘'legitimate'’ came from the witnesses at the wedding ceremony. Emotion began to envelop the bodies of the newlyweds. During the months of waiting, their hopes were placed in Him, awaiting the arrival of their long-awaited child, whose birth brought tears of joy to both parents.

The long wait has arrived. The baby is born safely. Naturally, the father and mother have made various preparations. Preparations that are not just physical (material) but also provide the necessary supplies. manners (Spiritual) and morals are also prioritized. So that the child can grow in balance, both spiritually and physically.

It's a non-negotiable obligation for both parents to provide for their children, especially in the modern era. An age where..., manners And morals is beginning to be eroded by the influence of promiscuity, which has spread beyond the bounds of decency. Besides the deterioration of morals and social life, it's not difficult to find tips on educating your children in this day and age.

There are many parenting books and therapies readily available for parents to use to educate their children. Even training, workshop Parenting seminars have now become a necessity in families. This is undeniable, as in the millennial era, educating our children is crucial to avoid various influences, especially the digital gadget and gaming addiction that are rife among our students.

Dr. Muhammad Nur Abdul Hafizh Suwaid, in his book Prophetic Parenting (a book recommended for parents) writes about the responsibility of parents in educating their children. He quotes several sayings Imam Al-Ghazali about the role of parents in educating their children.

“"A child is a trust in the hands of his parents. His holy day is a pearl that is still raw and has not been carved or shaped. If he is accustomed to and taught with goodness, he will grow up with that goodness. However, if he is accustomed to evil and is neglected like an animal is neglected, the child will surely be harmed and perish."”

To ensure parents don't make mistakes when providing their children with essential nutrients, there are several key factors that are key to successful provisioning for their children. First What must be taught to the child is to introduce Allah as the God who created him.

For some, it may be too early to introduce God to their children. Some even say it's not important to introduce God, as the child will understand God later when he or she grows up.
know for yourself who God is.

This opinion is deeply misleading and even dangerous. Fundamentally, the most important thing to teach children is to know Allah as their Lord, not to teach them how to count, read, write, sing, or anything else.

Good parents would not allow their children to become disobedient and disobey their commands. If a child does such a thing, it raises serious questions for the parents. It's certain that their parents never taught their children to recognize Allah as the Almighty Creator. Allah is the Greatest. This is the source of evil and misfortune, just as Imam Al-Ghazali stated above.

Then lock second What must be taught to children is love for the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad Saw. Parents must be able to guide their children to recognize and imitate the morals, manners and manners of the Prophet Muhammad. Of course, before parents start teaching education to their children, they must first learn the story, history and struggles of the Prophet Muhammad.

Parents should never teach love for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) without understanding the meaning of the love and education they are teaching. To prevent this, parents must read the life story of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This will allow love for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to grow in the souls and character of parents, families, and children.

The key that final One of the most important aspects of educating children is teaching them to read the Quran. It is common knowledge in society and families that reading the Quran is the most valid way to educate children. There are two strong opinions regarding teaching children to read the Quran. The first opinion is that it is recommended for children to learn to read the Quran from someone else (a Quran teacher). The second is to learn to read the Quran at home.

The first opinion is based on the sunnah of seeking knowledge outside of one's home, as it will bring greater blessings. However, studying outside the home is not because parents cannot read the Quran (ngaji) and therefore cannot teach their children. Rather, parents are also required to be able to read the Quran, given the importance and obligation of reading the Quran for Muslims.

If parents teach their children to read the Quran themselves, it's better. This allows parents to easily monitor their children. Teaching children to recite the Quran at home also makes it easier to identify problems, identify weaknesses, strengths, and behavior.

Although, in reality, a child's behavior will be different if he or she studies outside the home with friends. The point is, don't forbid children from studying the Quran at the teacher's house with their friends. Parents simply need to pray for their child when they go to study. And as a good parent, recite the best prayers for your child. May these intentions and prayers help them in their pursuit of knowledge.

Hopefully we can provide the best education for our children, so that it will become a field of rewards that we will reap in the hereafter. Amen, O Lord of the worlds.
