The Tradition of Knowledge in Islam [2] completed

In a not too long time the icon al-Suffah This is a characteristic of a boarding school where reading, writing, studying Islamic law, memorizing the Qur'an, tajwid and other Islamic sciences are taught directly and supervised by the Prophet Muhammad. [page 9].

Furthermore, the author of the book, Alparsalan, wrote an explanation regarding the number of mosques in Medina which converted to schools or madrassas during the time of the Prophet. Alparslan quoted a statement from the Sunnah of Abu Dawud which said;

“"People living in the surrounding areas sent their children to these local mosques. The Quba Mosque is not far from Medina, and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) frequently visited and personally supervised the school. He also encouraged the community to learn from their neighbors."”

The most important thing of all the elements of science according to Alparsalan is the aspect Islamic worldview which is the foundation primordial for the formation of framework thinking in supporting the development and progress of Islamic scientific civilization. The concept ‘'film must be introduced as the most fundamental element. The author of this book tries to relate the problem ’'film with several quotes from verses of the Qur'an.

“Among His servants, only scientists (ulama) fear Him the most. [al-Fatir, (35): 28]. In another verse, "Allah will exalt those who believe among you and those who are given knowledge, by degrees."“ [al-Mujadalah, (58):11].

Then in the letter az-Zumar “"Are there people who know and people who don't know? Only people with understanding can receive lessons. [az-Zumar, (39): 9]. And there are many more verses related to ‘'ilm. [Page 10].

In conclusion, this book is crucial for exploring the genealogy of knowledge within the Islamic tradition. Alparsalan Acikgence also emphasizes the importance of scientific tradition for the birth of a scientific tradition for the advancement of Islamic civilization. Therefore, it is important to encourage scientific activities and scientific communities as a forum for ‘'film and a legacy to the Islamic generation that has begun to emerge in the last decade.
