Four Conditions That Keep Satan's Temptations Away

Many people wonder how to resist Satan's temptations. Satan's seduction and deception are the greatest obstacles a Muslim faces in practicing good deeds. It's no surprise, then, that many Muslims seek ways to avoid Satan's seduction and temptations.

In this regard, inside the book of Risalah al-Amin the work of Abu al-Hasan asy-Syadzili (1197-1258). A mursyid who is known by his kewalian title and is the founder of the Syaziliyyah order. He was the teacher of many saints including his students famous is Ibn Athaillah as-Sakandari.

It is said that one of the things that inspired the birth of Ibn Athaillah as-Sakandari's work was book al-Hikâm is a legacy of science, sainthood, teachings Sufism and the tarekat learned from Abu al-Hasan asy-Syadzili.

Below, we will listen to the important messages he conveys in the book Risâlah al-Amin, namely how to fight the temptations of Satan and Satan will stay away from Muslims in 4 (four) conditions.

Of course, the message he conveyed was the result of his experience in how he protected himself to always be close to Allah, and kept himself away from the deception and temptation of Satan.

First, when you sit thinking about things that will bring you closer to Allah, then you do them.

Second, When you think about all the things that can distance you from Allah SWT, then you distance yourself from Him.

Third, when you think about your past sins, then you ask for forgiveness and thank Allah SWT.

Fourth, when you sit thinking about something you have done in the past, then you are grateful and ask for forgiveness from Him.

Therefore, if you want to defeat your enemy, then you must use faith, surrender, worship properly, and always ask for help from Allah SWT from the disturbances launched by your enemy.

The secret of your heart is based on the breadth of your faith, so you love it. You reject it when it (faith) is contrary to your faith. birth (truth) of science.

Therefore, pay attention to this problem, because there are many forms and behaviors of people. ignorant (stupid) fell into it. However, if you fall into it, then immediately ask Allah SWT for help.
