The Importance of Preaching Through Social Media

Da'wah is conveying and teaching Islamic message to all humanity to be applied in daily life. The challenges of Islamic preaching are becoming increasingly severe, coming from various aspects, both internal and external.

External challenges include challenges from the enemies of Islam who hinder Islamic preaching in various ways, starting from spreading slander against Muslims to the formation of a culture that challenges religious values and customs.

As for internal challenges, they are more due to the lack of awareness among Muslims in using modern media and technological means that are compatible to preach the correct creed. (authentic.

This is where the importance of da'wah is to provide understanding to the Indonesian people and all Muslims about the dangers that hit us today. As well as, telling them to do good things and preventing evil. This is a big task mujahid media. Namely, maintaining community life so that it is always good and free from immoral customs.

This da'wah must be carried out in an argumentative and convincing (real) manner as Allah said to His Messenger: “"Say, This is my (religious) path, I and those who follow me invite (you) to Allah with clear proof..."” (Qs. Yusuf: 108).
