The present era is truly a clear proof that the Day of Judgment is drawing near. It is difficult to distinguish between right and wrong, between what is hâq with that bathîl, between something that is actually good and something that is actually bad.
People are naturally happy and proud when they receive the title of advanced, creative, modern, and so on. This leads them to strive to follow or pursue anything labeled progress.
Increasingly sophisticated technological developments are a sign of progress. Therefore, those who can't keep up are placed in a group called outdated. Or, at the very least, gaptek (technologically illiterate). They even use terms that sometimes make your ears hot and your feelings hurt: old-fashioned, conservative, primitive, and so on.
As a result, in pursuit of labels like "progress," "modern," "hip," and so on, many children grow and develop at a snail's pace, not following the proper stages. Ironically, many parents are unaware of this and simply follow suit. trend that and, despite all the difficulties and hardships, fulfill and comply with the child's wishes and desires.
It shouldn't be yet puberty Instead, they're taught how to ride a motorbike. Even though they don't need a communication device, they're already being bought one. Ultimately, what happens is mental unpreparedness, which ultimately leads to the formation of multiple, split, and uncrystallized personalities.
In this episode, parents should focus on educating, caring for, and teaching their children with a strong educational concept about meîdone, shariaî'Ah And moralsâq. Not the other way around, allowing children to be "forced" to become aware of technology which can lead them into negligence sharia.
What should be strived for is to instill and cultivate the ability to know God and self from an early age. At the same time, these efforts must be accompanied by surrender and trust in Allah SWT.
With a focus on instilling skills meîyes, sharia Knowing God will have a positive impact on children's development by seemingly putting aside the rapid progress of technology.
Sheikh Yusuf al-Qardhawi in the book ar-Rasûl wal îlm He stated, "The importance of instilling knowledge at this stage. The knowledge referred to here is religious knowledge, knowledge that guides humans toward God and helps them (children) understand God's rules. This religious knowledge must not be neglected, even if they are technologically advanced, exploring space, and colonizing planets."[1]
May we be given strength, consistency and ability in educating and teaching our children with knowledge and faith in Allah SWT.
